Design, manufacture and installation of 4no. external escape stairs and 2no. external CAT ladders including self-supporting steel structures.
M J Patch were engaged to carry out full design development from clients intent drawings, including full structural design and calculations.
Fabrication, hot dip galvanizing and installation of approx. 50 tonnes of structural steelwork, 398m of ball and stanchion handrailing along with 730sq/m of open mesh flooring.
Installation carried out in various restricted areas around site over a 3-month period, with the use of cranes varying between 35 to 90 tonnes.
