The UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking is a new UK product marking that is used for goods being placed on the market in Great Britain (England, Wales and Scotland). It covers most goods which previously required the CE marking. From 1st January 2021 steelwork supplied by MJ Patch Engineering will carry the new UKCA marking.
MJ Patch Engineering will continue to work under the current BS EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, BS EN 1090-2:2018 standards.
MJ Patch hold ISO 9001 & BSEN 1090-1/ 2 accreditations which demonstrate the company’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality goods & services. In addition, Constructionline, SMAS Worksafe, Safe Contractor & Achilles UVDB accreditations demonstrate a commitment to providing a robust health & safety management system that protects its workers & others who may be affected by works carried out. MJ Patch are also currently working towards accreditation to BS ISO 45001 & BS ISO 14001 Standards.
