It is with great sadness that we share the news that Michael John Patch, founder of MJ Patch Engineering Limited, has passed away.
Mike founded MJ Patch Engineering in 1955, laying the foundations for the company that continues today. Through his hard work, skill and determination, he built a business that has gone on to serve generations of clients and provide opportunities for so many people over the years.
Outside of work, Mike was someone who loved to keep busy. He was never happier than when he was tinkering in the workshop or working in the garden, and he took great pride in both. He also had a keen interest in tractors and enjoyed attending regional events, where he shared that enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts and friends.
Mike kept a close interest in what was happening at MJ Patch right until the end, and the company remained very important to him throughout his life.
He will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him and working with him. Our thoughts are with all of his family, friends and loved ones at this difficult time.
